In a world of instant gratification, weaving is an act of patience.
When I sit at the bench, I am not just making fabric. I am building a textile that will hold your family dinners, dry your favorite mugs, and soften your home. It’s one of the ways I participate in the true, good, and beautiful of this world; one throw of the shuttle at a time.
Warping
Measuring hundreds of yards of thread and tensioning them onto the loom. It is math, engineering, and art all at once.
Pattern
Choosing material, colors, and structure with intenions focused on how you will use the piece in your home.
Hemming
Finishing pieces with sewn rolled edges or hand tied tassels to make sure they hold up with continued use.
Gifting
Presenting pieces to their new owners is one of my favorite moments. I find so much joy in sharing what I have loved with others.
The Beauty of the Selvedge
Just like the puddles I used to fear jumping into, weaving has taught me to embrace the unexpected. Sometimes a thread has a mind of its own. Sometimes the edge isn't razor-straight. These aren't flaws; they are proof of life. They show that a human hand, not a machine, made this piece. When you use these textiles, I hope you feel the joy that went into navigating those little imperfections.
The Launch List
Because every piece is hand-woven, our collections are released in small batches. They tend to find homes quickly!
